Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain current knowledge and competence within the scope of the position, adhering to codes of ethics, professional standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge or ability to gain knowledge about the National Drug Strategy and its application in alcohol and other drug treatment.
  • Contribute to positive client outcomes by providing comprehensive alcohol and other drug assessment, planning, and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with the client and/or their family and the inter-disciplinary team that supports the harm reduction strategy.
  • Participate in activities to achieve unit performance indicators and meet relevant standards.
