Job Description

We are seeking a skilled individual to operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery in our fast-paced work environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of equipment.

The role involves selecting and setting up machines based on material type and thickness, working in a team to maximize productivity and efficiency, and adhering to all safety rules and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery
  • Select and set up machines based on material type and thickness
  • Load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Pack items as instructed by shift leader or floor supervisor
  • Prepare product for shipment
  • Use hand and power tools for parts cleanup
  • Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment manually or using a forklift

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a Forklift license or willingness to obtain one. Desirable qualifications include experience operating a Fiber Laser Cutting machine.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and willing to do overtime when required
  • Physically fit
