About the Role

Charterhouse is seeking an experienced Credit / Collections Officer to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. This hybrid working role will be based in the Upper North Shore area, close to public transport and parking options.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in debt recovery and customer account management, with experience in reviewing ledgers, chasing bad debt, and reducing days sales outstanding (DSO). They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain customer accounts, ensuring payment terms are adhered to
  • Chase bad debt and implement strategies to reduce DSO
  • Prepare statements and reconciliations as required
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • 12 months plus experience in a Credit / Collections position
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively
  • Strong Excel skills, with ability to analyze data and provide insights
  • Fully working rights (PR or AU/NZ citizen)
