Seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Credit Assessment Team. As the Credit Manager, you will oversee a high-performing team responsible for delivering exceptional credit decisions and seamless broker and customer experiences.

About this role

This is a fast-paced environment where quality, speed, and service excellence go hand-in-hand. You will be expected to create a high-performance culture, coach and support your team to deliver outstanding results, and run effective team meetings.

The ideal candidate will have strong people leadership skills, with a proven ability to develop and inspire a high-performing team. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a people leader, with a background in credit assessment or credit risk within home lending space, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a high-performance culture and drive team performance through effective coaching and feedback
  • Lead the credit team to deliver great 1st time decisions and quality outcomes
  • Ensure excellent customer and broker service by measuring team performance and providing continuous improvement opportunities
  • Navigate and lead change effectively, communicating updates and helping teams adapt to evolving processes and priorities
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a people leader
  • Strong background in credit assessment or credit risk within home lending space
  • Demonstrated experience in operational performance management
  • Ability to deliver outstanding broker and customer experience
  • Comfortable navigating and leading change
