Chief Technology Officer

This role is about leading a multi-disciplinary division to oversee the development and assurance of technology systems and resources. You will foster strong partnerships with departments, agencies and industry, and drive cross-government collaboration.
As a senior executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the government's technology strategy. You will provide authoritative advice to Ministers and senior executives, ensuring investment decisions, policies and enterprise architecture align with government priorities.
You will set strategic direction, manage risk and build capability to ensure technology solutions deliver lasting value for the community.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can inspire innovation, and ensure that technology is deployed responsibly and sustainably.
- Deliver business outcomes through technology and transformation projects.
- Develop influencing, negotiation and relationship-management skills in an environment requiring highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Lead complex digital and technology projects through partnerships with people across business areas, functions and departments.
