About the RoleAs a Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for promoting quality patient care and service, and providing leadership and strategy to your team. You will work closely with the Clinical Services Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and assistants to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement programs to enhance patient care and service.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Services Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to your team to promote quality patient care and service.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years' clinical experience.
- Extensive experience within an Theatre setting.
- Strong team leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs.
- Exceptional communication and time management skills.
