Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Unit Manager - Theatre at our hospital in Launceston, Tasmania.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills. As the Nurse Unit Manager - Theatre, you will be responsible for promoting quality patient care and service, and providing leadership and strategy to your team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of RNs, EENs, and assistants to deliver high-quality patient care and service
- Develop and implement continuous improvement programs to enhance patient care and service
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team and make recommendations for improvement
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years' clinical experience
- Extensive experience within a Theatre setting
- Strong team leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
