Patient Transport Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Transport Officer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Victoria. As a key member of our Mobile Patient Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and transportation services.
- Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) with a minimum of a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Care.
- Experience working in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport sector is desirable but not essential.
- Hold a full Victorian Driver's license and have a satisfactory driving history report.
- Availability to work shifts across a 24-hour, 7-day roster.

- Hepatitis B.
- Chicken Pox.

- COVID-19 (2 vaccinations + booster).
All positions are subject to a National Police Check and holding a Working with Children Check.
