Job Opportunity

A dedicated and compassionate individual is required to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.

About the Position

As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care services, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties, daily errands, companionship, and support.

You will work within a client-centred environment that respects the rights and needs of each individual, assisting with academic, social, or recreational activities, preparing food, feeding clients, administering medications, observing, caring for, and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Supporting clients with mobility issues, including transferring and positioning
  • Preparing meals and snacks, and assisting with feeding
  • Administering medications, as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Observing and reporting any changes in the client's health and wellbeing

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • National Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Drivers Licence
  • First Aid
  • CPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months)
