Mandatory Criteria

We are seeking an experienced UNIX expert to join our team at Softtest pays pty ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and IBM AIX operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with creating detailed technical documentation, e.g. as-built documents, operational handover documents, support guides, standard operating procedures.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with networking, compute, storage, security engineers and architects to coordinate deployment and management of components.
  • Experience in working with vendors and internal resources to ensure delivery of solutions meets requirements.

Weighted Criteria

The successful candidate will also have experience with:

  • Red Hat Ansible automation, Red Hat Pacemaker, Red Hat Satellite and Identity Manager.
  • Virtualisation on the IBM Power platform.
  • Virtualisation on the VMware platform.
  • Virtualisation on the Openstack platform.
  • Virtualisation on the Oracle SPARC Platform.
  • Certified Red Hat Certified Administrator (RHCA) or Certified Red Hat Certified Engineer, (RHCE) or Oracle Solaris Administration Certification is highly regarded.
