Head Of Production in Hobart

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Head of Production to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

We are looking for someone who is a strategic thinker, able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery across three teams, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Develop and implement production plans, including resource allocation and budgeting
  • Mentor and coach team leads, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Coordinate budgets, review estimates, and ensure capacity planning is accurate
  • Set decision gates and quality checks for shoots, edits, publishing, and events
  • Oversee event delivery at a program level, including run of show, booth concepts, vendors, freight, and timelines

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in production management
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
