We are seeking an experienced Engineering Assurance Lead to support the Metro Tunnel Project in providing technical, engineering, and interface support from the design stage through to delivery.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring governance and stakeholder management to resolve technical and non-technical issues, ensuring the best outcome for the project and wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the resolution of technical and non-technical issues raised by stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions to explore problems and provide solutions for key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Technical Engineering Manager to report on issue status and provide guidance on business improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team, external stakeholders, and design teams to address document reviews, standard waivers, approvals, and RFIs.
- Participate in program-wide forums and working groups as requested by the Technical Engineering Manager.
- Maintain links with Engineering Interface Managers across other Project portfolios to identify best practices and maximize opportunities for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent.
- Strong experience working in an engineering, project management, or equivalent discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate for key outcomes through strong stakeholder management with complex stakeholders.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary organizations.
- Strong interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to interpret, analyze, and solve complex issues across technical disciplines.
