We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Funeral Services Coordinator to join our team at Invocare. As a key member of our funeral services team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to families during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

About the Role

The Funeral Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of the funeral service, ensuring that every detail is attended to with care and compassion. This includes working closely with families to understand their needs and preferences, and providing guidance and support throughout the planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating funeral arrangements, including venue selection, catering, and floral arrangements
  • Working with families to create personalized funeral plans, taking into account their cultural, religious, and personal requirements
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of funeral services

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a funeral services or related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
