Movement Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Movement Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in assisting students with intellectual disabilities to achieve positive outcomes through a tailored physical education program.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in movement education and be able to develop and implement engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning practices, as well as monitor and assess student learning data to inform your instruction.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Movement Education Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to providing high-quality educational programs that promote student success.
Successful applicants may be required to work at either our Dimboola Campus or Sorrento Campus, which are within a short walk of each other.

With a current enrolment of 340 students, our school has a trans-disciplinary approach to student learning, involving educators, therapists, and parents to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
Our modern purpose-built facility provides an attractive and safe environment for students to learn and grow.
The classroom teacher classification comprises two salary ranges: Range 1 and Range 2. As a Range 2 classroom teacher, you will play a significant role in assisting the school to improve student performance and educational outcomes determined by the school strategic plan and state-wide priorities.
