We are seeking an experienced Application Solutions Engineer to join our team. As an Application Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our sales team to select and engineer products and solutions for DC UPS systems. Your primary responsibility will be to establish client requirements and engineer solutions to meet those requirements using Eaton and selected third-party products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Technical and Commercial Solutions: Develop technical and commercial solutions based on customer requirements using Eaton and selected third-party products, specifically in power quality products including large-scale UPS, DC power systems, and battery systems.
  2. Prepare Written Proposals: Prepare written proposals for submission to the customer, highlighting the benefits and features of our solutions.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the sales team, end-users, and consultants to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  4. Build Relationships: Build relationships with consultants, key customers, and the sales team to ensure successful project execution.
  5. Deliver Presentations: Deliver presentations on Eaton's solutions to external and internal stakeholders, highlighting the value and benefits of our products and services.
  6. Contribute to Innovation Initiatives: Provide input for new product development and champion innovation initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  1. Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering are mandatory.
  2. Experience: 3 years of experience in critical power products and systems such as DC UPS.
  3. Commercial and Bid Engineering: Prior experience in commercial and bid engineering is desirable but not mandatory.
  4. Project Costing and Margin Calculation: Good understanding of project costing and margin calculation is desirable.
  5. Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
