Job Opportunity: Education Fellow
The role of an Education Fellow is a unique opportunity for a practicing clinician to develop expertise in health professional education while maintaining a clinical presence.
As an Education Fellow, you will be responsible for spending 50% of your time in a medical education role and the remaining 50% in clinical work within your chosen specialty. This position is funded by a relevant Medical Developmental Education (MDE) program.
You will be part of a project team responsible for implementing the New National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training. The framework aims to transform the training of postgraduate year one and two doctors during their first two years as physicians, focusing on direct observation of clinical work and individualized learning.
To succeed in this role, you should have a broad range of experience among postgraduate year one and two doctors, demonstrate high-quality educational practices, and possess excellent teaching skills. You will also participate in medical education research, learning, and evaluation activities.
