Support Services Manager

A Dynamic Support Specialist is required to work closely with funding bodies like the NDIA, TAC, and NIISQ Participants to deliver support services. You will supervise Support Staff in implementing therapeutic and goal-oriented support to clients within your caseload. Your focus will be on achieving improved outcomes for participants accessing our service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management support to participants
- Make referrals to address participant concerns and coordinate their care as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Manage a caseload through home visits and provision of services
- Ensure the service exceeds accreditation standards
- Maintain accurate case notes and report on participants' progress
- Lead employees under your supervision effectively
- Ensure rostering and staff allocation aligns with our Collective Agreement
We are looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and its impact on participants
- Strong organisational skills, including complex rostering and caseload management
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- High level interpersonal skills to build professional relationships
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current Blue and Yellow Card/NDIS Card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate
- Valid QLD driver's licence
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Covid Vaccination, including a booster
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Allied Health or a relevant field
