Job Description

We are seeking a skilled leader to fill the role of Residential Manager at our aged care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of personal and clinical care, ensuring that individual resident needs are met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, with experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and budget management. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of aged care service delivery and resident needs.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of daily clinical operating rhythms
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Prepare and manage budgets to meet financial targets
  • Maintain accurate records for funding, subsidies, and audits
  • Manage rosters, payroll inputs, and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency
  • Hold overall accountability for audit performance, PCI review accuracy, and Clinical Indicator reporting
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aged care or healthcare, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Registered Nurse qualification with current registration and First Aid certification
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proven record of budget management and compliance oversight Knowledge of aged care funding models, industry legislation, and accreditation standards.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Deep understanding of aged care service delivery and resident needs
  • Effective financial and operational management capability
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • High-level interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage change, resolve conflict, and make sound decisions
