About the Role

The role of a Senior Terrestrial Ecologist is pivotal in driving ecological excellence across various regions. We are seeking an experienced ecologist to provide strategic and practical solutions to clients facing environmental challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert advice on infrastructure and natural resource management projects for private and public sector clients
  • Lead and coordinate environmental surveys and impact assessments of terrestrial ecosystems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Deliver high-quality environmental analysis, research, and field surveys to inform decision-making
  • Establish and drive a culture of efficient project delivery within the Ecology practice
Requirements for Success:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in Ecology, preferably in a consulting, construction, or regulatory environment
  • Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) accreditation or working towards it

This position involves both office and fieldwork, requiring applicants to be physically able to stand and work in the field, including remote areas for extended periods.
