A highly sought-after General Practitioner (GP) opportunity has become available at a thriving, bulk billing family practice situated in the heart of Denistone East.

This busy medical clinic serves a large patient base, with a current average of 4-5 patients per hour. Due to increased demand, particularly during winter vaccination periods, the practice is looking for an additional GP to join their team on a part-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be a VR GP, still under moratorium, who is available to work extended hours, including afternoons and evenings. Alternatively, an unrestricted VR GP who can commit to working from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm would be an excellent fit.

As part of a multidisciplinary team comprising a psychologist, physiotherapist, podiatrist, and full-time nursing support, successful applicants will enjoy a dynamic and supportive work environment. Onsite pathology services are also available, further enhancing the convenience and efficiency of care delivery.

The principal GP/owner remains on-site until 9:00 pm, ensuring that incoming doctors have a steady patient load from day one. This guaranteed workload provides an exceptional opportunity for GPs to hit the ground running and contribute to the growth and success of this esteemed medical practice.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • MBBS or equivalent
  • AHPRA GENERAL/SPECIALIST registration
  • FRACGP qualification
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Based on industry standards and considering the location, the estimated annual salary for this position ranges between $200,000 to $250,000 AUD.
