We are seeking a skilled Business Banking professional to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank. As a Business Banking Analyst, you will play a crucial role in relationship management, working closely with colleagues, senior leadership, and clients to provide valuable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the creditworthiness of businesses, oversee applications, conduct due diligence, and model financial risk.
  • Prioritize quality, credit management, portfolio monitoring, revenue growth, and loss minimization.
  • Support business bankers to align client needs, enhance service, and strategize product offerings.
  • Maintain data integrity, ensure compliance, and analyze client data.
  • Research new business prospects, manage credit submissions, and conduct annual reviews promptly.

Requirements:

  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills with commercial insight across diverse sectors.
  • Adaptable, both independent and a team player.
  • The ability to quickly gain an understanding of complex transactions.
  • Prioritizes risk, compliance, and credit assurance.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Ideal candidates will have a Business/Commerce degree with financial accounting or insolvency experience.
