System Integration Specialist

Job Description:

As a System Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of various systems and applications. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze ICT and cyber security system requirements, mapping solutions to ensure secure, effective, and well-integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze ICT and cyber security system requirements and map solutions to ensure secure, effective, and well-integrated systems.
  • Prepare requirement specifications, system designs, support, and procedural documentation for stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Document specifications for integration partners to leverage system and application interfaces.
  • Capture technical processes and requirements, ensuring seamless system integration with stakeholders.
  • Support other analysts, technical consultants, and change managers within the program.
  • Manage assigned product delivery against agreed schedules, prioritizing tasks for successful project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience delivering technical analysis activities within cyber security projects/programs, specifically in the Queensland healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, management, and automation tools for firewalls, ensuring robust system protection.
  • Experience across technology domains such as network and cloud security, including firewalls, SaaS, and secure web gateways.
  • Strong background in release planning and deploying solutions in large-scale environments, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Proven ability to document application interfaces and system interconnectivity, facilitating smooth integration.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications, demonstrating expertise in cyber security and system analysis.
  • Experience working within healthcare or large government environments, understanding the unique challenges and requirements.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth or Queensland ICT frameworks, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Exposure to Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar), adapting to changing project needs and priorities.
