Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to perform critical engineering functions, including structural inspections, assessment and reporting of fixed plant assets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough structural inspections and defect assessments across various site assets.
- Perform complex structural analysis and design of non-complex structures.
- Review and validate technical drawings and engineering calculations.
- Provide expertise on fixed plant, balanced machines, and supporting infrastructure.
- Support asset management strategies with a deep understanding of operational environments.
- Apply knowledge in geotechnical and civil works to multidisciplinary tasks.
- Strong background in structural design, analysis, and inspection with relevant certifications.
- Excellent understanding of mining equipment and fixed plant operations.
- Knowledge of asset management systems, particularly as it relates to infrastructure performance.
- Familiarity with geotechnical and civil engineering principles in mining or heavy industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with strong academic record.
- Membership (or eligibility) with Engineers Australia and other relevant professional organizations.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and valid driver's licenses.
