We are seeking a dedicated Safety Professional to lead through influence and build a strong, proactive safety culture.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with leaders to embed our safety values, shape critical conversations, and support a culture where people look out for themselves and each other.

  • Engage with leaders to support the delivery of our Safety Strategy
  • Coach and mentor frontline leaders to build confidence and capability in safety leadership
  • Facilitate incident investigations, ensuring effective learning and timely closeout
  • Drive the implementation of our Critical Hazard Program and support risk management in Operations
  • Ensure compliance with HSES systems, standards, and legislative requirements
  • Analyse safety performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
  • Promote visible safety leadership through proactive field engagement
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and associated actions
About You:

We're looking for someone who pairs strong technical capability with a genuine commitment to people and culture. You know how to connect with others, build trust, and positively influence safe behaviours.

  • A collaborative mindset and strong alignment with our safety culture
  • Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety (desirable)
  • Experience in Health & Safety roles within mining, heavy industry, or construction
  • Proven capability in supporting HSES systems, audits, and assurance processes
  • Solid understanding of WHS legislation and its practical application in operational environments
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and build capability of frontline leaders and teams
  • Experience in incident investigations, ideally using ICAM methodology
  • Strong knowledge of risk and hazard management, including critical controls
  • Data analysis skills and use of safety reporting tools (desirable)
