Parks and Gardens Assistant

Assistance is required with the maintenance of parks, gardens, sporting fields, and urban areas within a local government area.

This role offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification while making a valuable contribution to public services.

Duties:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks in parks, gardens, and urban areas.
  • Participate in team-based activities and contribute to public services across the local government area.
Essential Requirements:
  • A genuine interest in maintaining public spaces.
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • The physical fitness to perform tasks that involve regular walking, lifting, and bending.
  • A current driver's license.
