Job Overview

The Processing Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining and improving performance, driving a positive workplace culture and upholding core values.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at a world-class operation with a +10-year mine life, on a 7/7 (12-hour days) roster.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Supervision
  • Supervise and provide leadership to Process Technicians Utilities to maintain and improve performance and drive a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate maintenance priorities and liaise with Maintenance personnel to ensure maintenance requirements are addressed in a timely manner.
Safety and Training
  • Coordinate and monitor the training progress of shift-based Process Technicians Utilities to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage their workstations effectively and safely.
  • Oversee safety and emergency response practices to ensure compliance with site safety policies and procedures, and minimize the risk associated with the working environment of shift personnel.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five years working in mineral processing or related industry with at least two years supervisory or senior technician experience.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills enabling effective communication at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Sound leadership skills including the ability to coach, train and influence the behavior of others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
