Social Worker

This position requires a skilled professional to collaborate with children, young people, families and carers to create and implement effective case plans.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team to develop and monitor placements, ensuring that every voice is heard and every need is met.
A relevant bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred, however experience working with vulnerable populations is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
- Previous case management experience within an Out of Home Care (OOHC) / Child Protection setting
- Experience supporting Children & Young People with disability, who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect
- Working understanding of the NSW Permanency Support Program
- Understanding of trauma and its effects on children and young people
This role requires a strong understanding of the needs of children and young people, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A current unrestricted drivers' licence is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective case plans for children and young people
- Collaborate with the team to monitor placements and ensure that every voice is heard
- Support and guide foster carers in implementing strategies to best support children and young people
