We're looking for a seasoned leader to take on the pivotal role of leading and coordinating a portfolio of critical functions within our cyber security ecosystem.

About the Job

As the lead, you will oversee a team of experts who act as strategic interfaces between our cyber security and key business units. This team ensures security is embedded into business initiatives from the outset, enabling secure digital innovation and effective risk management.

  • Business Security Engagement: Oversee a team of Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) who drive security integration throughout our solutions delivery lifecycle.
  • Security Program Delivery: Lead the development, ownership, and ongoing refinement of our cyber security strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and APRA CPS 234.
  • Security Awareness and Training: Drive our security culture by leading awareness and training initiatives that empower employees to manage cyber risks and foster a security-first mindset.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, delivery squads, and third-party partners to align business strategy with security priorities and operational delivery. Your leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our cyber maturity, enhancing operational resilience, and protecting customer trust.

About You

You are a senior cyber security leader with broad expertise and a track record of delivering business-aligned security outcomes. You bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role overseeing business solutions delivery and security integration within complex, enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering secure, scalable technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong expertise in cybersecurity principles and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, and APRA CPS 234, with practical experience embedding security controls throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical and security concepts clearly to a broad range of stakeholders, including executives, business units, and technical teams.
  • High analytical and mature problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent, demonstrating dedication to security best practices and effective project leadership.
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and influence across diverse teams, driving a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading or supporting security awareness and training initiatives that build organisational resilience and a proactive security mindset.
