Job Title: Strategic Cyber Security Leadership Role

This is a key leadership position within the Cyber Security and Resilience Branch of an agency.

The successful candidate will lead a team that develops, enhances, and maintains a proactive detection and prevention program to counter insider threats.

  • Managing all-source intelligence fusion from technical and human sources.
  • Managing all stages of the intelligence cycle and acting as Collection Manager.
  • Production of relevant, timely, and actionable intelligence.
  • Coordinating the intelligence collection processes of internal and external sources and agencies.
  • Manage elements of counterintelligence and security intelligence.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in intelligence or cyber security roles, possess intelligence and/or security qualifications, and demonstrate knowledge of the intelligence cycle and/or Cyber Operations.

Suitable applicants must also exhibit initiative appropriate to level, effective time management with a solution-focused approach, independent thinking, analytical problem-solving skills, ability to present findings through written and verbal communication to a high standard, and a strong understanding of intelligence principles and practices.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Clearance, undergo pre-employment checks, and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
