Waste Management Operator

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Waste Management Operator to join our Cleansing Team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, operating minor plant and carrying out routine cleaning and litter collection tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake street cleaning and operate high pressure hoses and blowers
  • Carry out inspections of facilities and report on maintenance and equipment issues
  • Rubbish removal and adhoc street cleansing duties: sweeping and general clean up

Requirements:

  • MR Licence essential for safe operation of vehicles
  • Experience driving a compactor an advantage
  • White Card essential for working at heights and with hazardous materials
  • Steel toe cap boots and high visibility shirt or vest required for safety
  • Ability to work without supervision and take initiative in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
