Spirits Connoisseur

We are seeking a skilled Spirits Connoisseur to join our team at Dan Murphy's.

This role involves providing customers with expert knowledge and information about our spirit selection, ensuring a personalized and exceptional shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for spirits and a strong ability to engage with customers in an authentic way.

• Actively engage customers in an authentic way, sharing product knowledge and providing end-to-end service
• Collaborate with the store leadership team to set up and facilitate customer events
• Advocate for My Dan's loyalty by engaging with customers to understand benefits and product offerings
• Instil a love and passion for spirits into every interaction, developing team member product knowledge
• Undertake a variety of in-store tasks, including customer service and inventory tasks, as well as duty management
• Contribute to store sales planning processes by sharing specialist product knowledge and recommendations on product lines

• A genuine desire to create memorable customer moments and the ability to work across key customer hours
• Proficiency in the world of spirits and a good understanding of wine and beer
• A thirst for knowledge and love to learn about new and emerging trends and categories
• The ability to authentically impart knowledge, inspiring customers and team members to continue their adventure of discovery
• Experience in a drinks-related role, including the spirits industry, bar work, or liquor retail
