Respiratory Protection Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective Quantitative Fit Testing (QNFT) for healthcare workers.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting Quantitative Fit Testing (QNFT) for healthcare workers involves an objective measurement of the leakage of particles from inside a mask using a numerical indicator called the fit factor.
- Ensuring that all components of testing are passed is crucial to guarantee the effectiveness of respiratory protection equipment.
- Using machines such as PortaCount or AccuFIT to measure the volume of particles inside a mask compared with the surrounding ambient air requires attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role need to be met by the ideal candidate.
- A valid NSW Drivers Licence is required for this position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is necessary to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
