As an airfare consultant, your role is pivotal in managing the travel logistics of our clients. You will focus on coordinating airfares for confirmed cruise bookings, allowing you to showcase your expertise without the pressure of closing sales. Your knowledge of airfare options will enable you to present our clients with top-tier choices from leading airlines, suggest upgrades to premium classes, and identify additional enhancements for their travel packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to inquiries from existing clients regarding airfare details of their bookings.
- Coordinating airfares for pre-arranged cruise packages.
- Promoting and recommending upgrades to premium economy, Business, and First Class options.
- Ensuring accurate entry of frequent flyer information, baggage preferences, meal requests, and seating arrangements during booking.
- Expertly searching and booking complex travel itineraries, including stopovers and surface sectors.
- Understanding client preferences and needs to propose optimal travel itineraries within package allowances.
- Providing timely and accurate information to ensure a smooth post-booking experience.
- Completing administrative tasks associated with the role efficiently and accurately.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
Who you are...
- Experience with GDS (Global Distribution System) - Amadeus proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with travel industry products and cruise destinations is advantageous.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to understand and interpret client requirements.
