Key Responsibilities:- Operate high-precision CNC machines to produce, modify, and manufacture components based on detailed drawings and work orders.
- Record and sign off completed tasks on job orders, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
- Ensure all finished work meets the strict quality inspection criteria outlined in drawings.
- Utilize electronic workstations to track task progress and costs, maintaining efficiency and productivity.
- Employ hand tools and equipment necessary for job tasks, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform routine machinery maintenance as needed, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
- Complete on-the-job training according to specified standards, developing skills and expertise.
- Execute JPTMS (jigs, programs, tools, materials, setup sheets) with precision and accuracy.
- Independently set up, operate, and inspect components using 3, 4, and 5 axis machines, achieving high-quality results.
- Provide training to junior CNC Machinists, promoting knowledge sharing and development.
- Maintain shift continuity by documenting actions and issues, ensuring seamless operations.
- Uphold high standards of product quality, meeting customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations for safe operations, protecting personnel and equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on skills and qualifications, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Hold a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent), demonstrating relevant technical expertise.
- Possess knowledge of manufacturing techniques, processes, and troubleshooting, applying problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to producing quality work and meeting product standards, adhering to industry best practices.
- Have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, effective in teamwork and collaboration.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
