Senior Accountant Position

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, mid-sized firm in Adelaide City Fringe/Adelaide North.

About the Role
  • The Senior Accountant will work closely with SME and individual clients, providing expert advice and guidance on tax structuring, small business concessions, superannuation, GST, CGT, and FBT.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for various entity types
  • Deliver tailored tax planning scenarios and resolve complex compliance issues
  • Review work prepared by junior and intermediate staff, providing guidance and mentoring
  • Maintain strong client relationships, delivering timely and value-added outcomes
Requirements
  • 4-10 years of experience in an Australian public practice environment
  • Strong technical tax knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Ability to manage your workflow and work autonomously
  • Proven experience using cloud-based accounting systems including Xero and Xero Tax
