About This Opportunity

Our hospital is seeking a skilled administrative professional to join our Birthing Unit and Special Care Nursery team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have an exceptional experience during their care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting all patients with care and compassion, making them feel comfortable during their hospital stay
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and Nurse Unit Manager to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
  • Prepare patient files, appointment lists, and coordinate with other administrative staff to obtain ward patient files
  • File medical records and provide clerical support to the clinical team, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations
  • Liaise with allied health professionals, wards personnel, and other hospital departments to facilitate patient treatments or transfers, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork
