Job Opportunity

Our company seeks a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of a Level 1 Security Analyst.

As a Level 1 Security Analyst, you will be responsible for continuous monitoring and triaging of security threats within client networks on a 24x7x365 basis. This involves:

  • Monitoring SIEM technologies, Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence Management to identify potential threats
  • Raising threats as tickets for clients
  • Assisting with monthly reporting, procedure and workflow development

A day in the life of a Level 1 Security Analyst includes:

  • Monitoring client networks for security issues 24x7 on a rotating roster
  • Investigating security threats, breaches, and incidents
  • Using SIEM, SOAR, and Vulnerability Management platforms to protect systems
  • Raising critical/high alerts with clients following escalation procedures

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent soft skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients. A strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, especially Security Operations, is essential.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
