We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Global Logistics Operations Coordinator.

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure seamless customs clearance operations for import and export shipments. This includes preparing accurate customs declarations, classifying and valuing products, updating systems databases, and liaising with customers to resolve any queries or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customs clearance declarations in compliance with national regulatory provisions and company policies;
  • Accurately classify and value import and export products for customs clearance;
  • Update systems databases with relevant information to ensure efficient shipping operations;
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve any queries or issues related to customs clearance or transportation operations;
  • Assist with transport operations, including booking deliveries, billings, and accounting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Customs Brokers License (or within 12 months of application);
  • Knowledge of Government Regulations and Standard Operational Procedures for Customs Import Operations;
  • ICS and Third Party Systems experience;
  • Good geographical knowledge and international freight shipping terms;
  • Accounting knowledge and basic mathematical skills (including exchange rates and foreign currency).
