We are seeking an Accounting and Reporting Specialist to join our team at Travelex Foreign Coin Services Limited.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide financial support to all areas of the business, focusing on commercial rigor and stakeholder engagement.
  2. Prepare monthly profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reporting, statutory accounts, and audit, both internal and external.
  3. Work closely with offshore GL and Reconciliation teams to ensure compliance with monthly/quarterly reporting deadlines and Travelex's Group Financial Policies.
  4. Engage proactively with business partners throughout forecasting and budgeting cycles, conducting regular business reviews to monitor variances.
  5. Perform other ad-hoc analyses as required.
About You:
  1. You must have strong commercial acumen, an appropriate university degree from a recognized institution, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in finance-related functions.
  2. You should possess a solid understanding of P&L reporting, financial modelling, including budgets and forecasting, and business performance analysis.
  3. Your ability to interpret key business drivers and provide actionable insights to stakeholders is essential.
  4. You should be proficient in MS Excel, able to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
  5. A high degree of problem-solving and process excellence, with the ability to simplify complex data, is required.
  6. Nice to have: experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis, as well as BI tools like Quicksight to enhance reporting and visualization.
