Job Title: Senior Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Supply Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient distribution of medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and stores officers in the Medicines Supply area
  • Ensure an efficient and high-quality logistics service
  • Support the Manager – Medicines Supply by overseeing the work of other pharmacy technicians and stores officers
Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating and rostering pharmacy technicians and stores officers
  • Providing training to pharmacy staff
  • Undertaking purchasing and inventory management duties
  • Undertaking operational duties of the Medicines Supply Manager in their absence

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of pharmaceutical operations and supply chain management.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in pharmacy or related field preferred
  • 5+ years experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and quality in a fast-paced environment
