The company is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to support their mining and metals projects. This role involves designing, developing, and evaluating mechanical systems and equipment to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead the design, modification, and evaluation of mechanical systems and equipment.">
  • Support cost estimates, field investigations, and client discussions.">
  • Prepare designs, drawings, reports, and proposals.">
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines, clients, contractors, and vendors.">
  • Provide technical input during equipment procurement.">
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers as needed.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).">
  • 8-10 years' experience in mining/mechanical engineering (or 12-14 years without a degree).">
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, systems, and materials handling equipment.">
  • Experience with copper projects and slurry pumping systems (essential).">
  • Familiarity with CAD (2D/3D) design tools.">
  • Understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction practices.">
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.">
  • Bonus: experience in hydrogen liquefaction or ammonia production.">
