We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Education Director to lead our team at Collaroy Plateau Community Kindergarten. As the Teaching Director, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality educational program in a play-based learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support and mentor educators in developing and implementing individual room play-based programs.
- Create inspiring environments that foster curiosity and encourage exploration and engagement.
- Lead reflective practice and curriculum considerations relating to inclusion and equity within the service.
- Ensure the service facilitates a play-based learning environment and develops learning programs responsive to children's ideas, strengths, and abilities.
- Work alongside the Educational Leader to support the delivery of the educational program.
- Bachelor of Education, NESA teacher proficiency, or working towards.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Early Childhood Education with a minimum of 2 years in a Director role.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Current child protection certificate or willingness to obtain.
Collaroy Plateau Community Kindergarten is a 40-place preschool that offers a play-based, child-initiated preschool curriculum across three key environments.
