Healthcare Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Worker to join our dynamic team at Western Health. As an integral member of our Nursing & Midwifery Workforce Unit, you will be working alongside our nursing staff to provide exceptional care to patients in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Worker to join our team on a casual or permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Home and Community Care) or Health Services Assistance with elder care focus. They will also have a minimum one year's full-time equivalent experience working as a HCW/PCA in the Australian Healthcare sector.

The role involves working a rotating roster across AM, PM, and ND shifts, 7 days per week. We require someone who is adaptable, resilient, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Home and Community Care) or Health Services Assistance with elder care focus
  • Minimum one year's full-time equivalent experience working as a HCW/PCA in the Australian Healthcare sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
