Job Title

OverviewThe role of Cook - Early Childhood Education and Care is to prepare healthy, seasonal meals based on thoughtfully planned menus, fueling young minds and bodies every day.

This is a Monday to Friday position, offering a great work-life balance in a supportive and friendly environment. If you love cooking and care about children's nutrition, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating healthy, seasonal meals for early education and care services
  • Preparing meals based on planned menus
  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Working efficiently independently as well as part of a team
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and management
Requirements:
  • A minimum Cert IV in Cookery
  • Experience with cooking for children and/or large numbers of people
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain
  • First Aid Certificate
  • An understanding of early education and care centre operations
  • Available to work Monday to Friday
