Job DescriptionThis Senior Java Frontend Developer Specialist role involves translating UI/UX wireframes and visual designs into efficient frontend application code. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivery of software applications of high quality, on schedule, and within agreed scope;
- Managing requirements and scope as part of the agile process, where applicable;
- Following and improving software development processes, including agile processes;
- Assisting recruitment of senior software engineers and software engineers;
- Actively participating in all team meetings and discussions;
- Engaging business stakeholders directly involved in the project;
- Delivering software solutions to complex requirements;
- Working individually and in virtual teams;
- Contributing to outcomes in a dynamic, customer-focused team;
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX design;
- Writing efficient, clean, tested, and documented code ready for reuse by others;
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability across various platforms and devices;
- Participating in tool and technology selection processes and creating proof-of-concept models for new technologies and approaches;
- Formulating the technical design and evaluating effort estimates;
- Coordinating with back-end developers;
- Experience in working with Agile teams on Sprint or Kanban methodologies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Senior Java Frontend Developer;
- Strong understanding of Java and related technologies;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
