Job Opportunity: Mental Health Vocational Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Vocational Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support for young people aged 12-25 years, helping them navigate mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drug use, and employment and study pathways.
- Deliver individual placement and support (IPS) vocational services to young people with mental health difficulties.
- Collaborate with our clinical team to support employment and education goals.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in human services (e.g., social work, psychology).
- Prior experience and passion for youth mental health and employment support.
- In-depth knowledge of vocational planning and mental health disorders.
- Excellent computer and administrative skills.
- Eligibility for Blue Card and NDIS worker screening.
- A valid driver's license is essential.
