About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Toll Transport Pty Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our contract manager in the delivery of port services to the Australian Border Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage the site, conducting assessments and executing repairs or replacements in line with the Facility Management Plan.
  • Liaise with customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and Department staff nationally to meet all contract terms.
  • Ensure timely scheduled maintenance, repairs, and replacements to avoid service failure and resultant costs.
  • Undertake operational activities including vessel bunkering in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage schedules and tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Attend to customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure safe work procedures are developed and regularly reviewed for high-risk tasks.
  • Engage and make recommendations with management and health and safety consultation groups regarding health and safety matters.
Requirements
  • Well-developed organizational and computer skills.
  • Prior experience within management of the maritime industry would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in facilities management would be an advantage.
  • Results orientation – commits to ensuring timelines are achieved.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to negotiate successful outcomes with suppliers.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective support and rapport with personnel at all levels.
