Our organisation provides high-quality services aimed at supporting individuals to remain independent in the community. We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Handyperson to join our team in a unique workshop environment.

The successful candidate will assist and encourage people living with a disability to learn skills and have fun. This may involve working in other programs depending on needs, using tools and power tools, and assisting others to learn.

Previous experience in a trade or handyperson role would be advantageous. You require knowledge and ability to use tools and power tools and assist others to learn. You will enjoy working in a creative environment. Experience working with people with a disability is highly regarded but not essential.

  • Experienced handyperson
  • Outstanding communication skill, ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
  • Experience working with people with a disability.
  • Certificate III Individual Support or Cert IV Disability – highly desirable
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Workers Induction module certificate.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Current valid full Driver's Licence,
  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC) and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
