Dispensing Medications with Excellence

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Dispense Technician to join our pharmacy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for prescriptions
  • Develop and share product knowledge to enhance customer experience
  • Assist with general customer inquiries and provide recommendations using your training and expertise
  • Counsel customers about medications and health-related topics
  • Process orders and manage inventory as required, ensuring seamless stock movement into the dispensary
  • Update customer records
  • Pack Dose Administration Aids with precision

Requirements:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic and passionate about delivering excellent value-based pharmacy services to our community
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Motivated about assisting and educating our community on healthcare matters
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team, taking direction when needed
  • Friendly and collaborative demeanor
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Previous experience in pharmacy as a Dispense Technician or Webster Packer (ideal)
  • S2/S3 medications certification
  • Certificate in III Community Pharmacy
  • Experience using MINFOS software
