Key Risks and Solutions-Focused Professional

The Risk and Assurance Directorate is seeking a proactive risk professional with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to develop, implement, and continuously improve the Department's risk management and business continuity frameworks.

This role will undertake research and data analysis on risk practices, contribute to risk assessment programs, and provide operational input into the review of control strategies and accountability mechanisms. The successful candidate will engage with business areas across the Department to deliver targeted training, guidance, and resources that build local capability in managing operational risks and business continuity.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and continuously improve risk management and business continuity frameworks.
  • Conduct research and data analysis on risk practices and contribute to risk assessment programs.
  • Provide operational input into the review of control strategies and accountability mechanisms.
  • Engage with business areas across the Department to deliver targeted training and resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in risk management, business continuity, or incident management in a complex organisational setting.
